Below the farmhouse in 1920. And the image below that shows the rear, possibly from the late 1940s. If you look below that at the map the farmhouse is marked orange and the first photo is taken from the direction of the blue arrow. .....Del Smith

Dagnam Park Farm and the Moat from an 1896 map

Dagnam Park Farmhouse stood just south of the moat, Dycorts infants and Junior Schools were both built on the site. The photo below taken in 1973 shows a walnut tree outside Dycorts Junior school (now known as Pyrgo Priory. (2018)) If you were to stand outside the school hall and look out towards the moat your line of view would have been obstructed by this Walnut tree. That tree stood in the farm garden and is marked with a green dot on the map. Sadly the tree which was in poor condition was removed in the early 90s. A sad loss. .It was traditional for farm houses and other large houses to have a walnut tree in their grounds. The Dagnam’s walled garden had four walnut trees which were trained to hang over the north-east wall into the garden. There were others
