Essex Field Club is the oldest county natural history society, It runs a museum in Pitsea and is the primary recording centre in Essex. With specialists in geology as well as the flora and fauna of Essex, for over a hundred years it's members have recorded and catalogued the changing wildlife of Essex. You can join up and help for a mere £15.
